Dr. Agbogbo Ode, gave this commendation Wednesday when he received the commissioner, Hon. Omale Omale and management team in his office on a courtesy call.

The Head of Service who acknowledged the Ministries role of developing and facilitating the implementation of policies for the provision of adequate and reliable power supply, and energy needed to drive the socio economic activities in the state, stated that, he would do a comparison of what is obtained at the Federal Ministry of Power with a view to domesticate the reforms needed for the implementation of the mandate of the new ministry, he directed them to forward their request to his office to enable him present it appropriately, stating that the Ministry was a critical sector in the development and implementation of policies of the administration.

Earlier Commissioner of the Ministry Hon. Omale Omale while thanking the Head of Service for the interface express appreciation to the Governor for creating the Ministry and appealed for a take-off grand, and professional staff to be employed in the Ministry.

Barr. Omale Omale also appealed for proper coordination and Gazeting of the Ministry’s operation to effective and successfully deliver on its mandate

Permanent Secretary Bureau of Service Welfare in the Office of the Head of Service Dr. Elvis Ogenyi thanked the commissioner and his team for not relenting in their quest to have a functional system, and applauded the Governor foresight in the introduction of the e-economy which is technologically driven as the Power and Renewable Energy sector would fast track the Governors plans of creating a new Benue.
